Too many autistic people are isolated and therefore experiencing anxiety, low confidence, social exclusion, difficulties in education and/or limited opportunities to form friendships and become independent. Many are particularly vulnerable because mainstream services are not designed to meet their needs and they face navigating already difficult circumstances suffering additional disadvantage through, for example, poor mental health, family breakdown and further social and societal exclusion.
We support autistic people as a specialist charity dedicated to improving their and their families’ lives. Our high-quality support and expert staff enable people to thrive, participate fully in their community and achieve their potential. Our services create a society where people are understood, valued and supported to lead fulfilling lives through the delivery of practical, autism-specific support that improves independence, emotional wellbeing, life skills and raises awareness of autism.
