We face a crisis of connection; a profound fracturing in how we relate to each other. Theatre activates collective empathy, but post-Brexit barriers and soaring inflation have pushed international touring to a crisis point. Questions for John is Complicité’s biggest international tour since before Brexit, spanning the UK and Europe. We are resisting cultural isolation. Your gift helps meet these soaring costs, ensuring vital global exchange survives to connect thousands in a fractured world.

We will rebuild these bridges by partnering with leading European venues and you, to launch a tour of Questions for John that defies borders. Combining storytelling with Complicite’s trademark immersive sound scapes and staging, this production will put 50,000+ people into the same conversation, collectively asking questions of much-missed writer and thinker John Berger, of our politicians, of ourselves. Now more than ever we need to be reminded of how to remain human in the face of conflict.
