Winter is always the most challenging period for the veterans we support, but this year we are facing an unprecedented crisis. Demand for our services has reached record levels. As the temperatures drop, we are doing all we can to ensure no veteran is left cold, hungry, or alone.

More veterans than ever are currently homeless, increasingly due to rising cost of living, relationship breakdown and economic strain. These are people who once stood ready to sacrifice everything for this country. Now, some are struggling to simply survive. Many are facing mental health challenges, often resulting in unemployment, addiction and homelessness.
RBVE supports the most vulnerable veterans of the UK Armed Forces, providing homes, creating jobs and building communities. We help veterans with mental health issues, injuries and disabilities to learn to manage health conditions and rebuild confidence and independence. We need help to get as many veterans as possible into our emergency accommodation and onto our welfare pathway to put them on track to a brighter future and equip them with the employability skills to regain their independence.
