Children, young people and families in North Kensington face inequality, overcrowded housing and financial barriers that limit access to safe, positive activities. High fuel costs often mean reduced winter heating, leaving homes cold and unsuitable for gathering or study. Without many affordable options locally, many children experience isolation and reduced wellbeing, especially in the winter, missing critical opportunities to build confidence, skills and future pathways.
RPT will provide free activities, mentoring and family support that give children and young people a safe, warm and supportive environment beyond overcrowded homes. By reducing isolation, building trusted relationships and delivering targeted educational and youth support, we will help children and young people develop the confidence, resilience and skills needed to succeed in education, move into training and secure brighter long-term futures.
