Restore is seeking funding to strengthen the support available to people rebuilding their lives following homelessness. The demand for our service is increasing due to rising homelessness. We want to increase our provision to support more people to move on from homelessness to independent living.

We support residents to develop life skills, achieve stability and to move on to independent living. We support individuals who would otherwise be homeless, and refugee families. Moving on to their own tenancy can be overwhelming for residents and so we offer continued support through this process. The majority of these flats are unfurnished, and so residents need to purchase costly items to transform it into a home. We support residents financially with the purchase of some of these items.
We support residents through the provision of accommodation, community, and 1:1 support from their Housing Support Worker. We also have a designated Tier 3 Support Worker who works with residents during their transition from a Restore house to independent living. The Tier 3 support worker will help residents to set up their new flat, and will offer weekly support for an additional six months. We want to employ a Refugee Community Support Worker to work specifically with our refugee residents.
