Following the pandemic and on-going cost-of-living crisis CFINE has seen a huge increase in demand for our support services. Our emergency food parcel distribution dramatically rose from an estimated 45,757 in 2024/25 to 56,312 in 2025/26. CFINE’s services continue to deal with complex cases with individuals reporting increased; feelings of anxiety and stress, financial pressures, worry about paying bills, the choice between eating or heating, and social isolation.
This campaign will help us to maintain our current service provision to meet the rising demand for support. Our food support services are the first stage of engagement for many of our beneficiaries and provide immediate crisis support for those most affected by the cost-of-living crisis. Those who require further support are then linked to our holistic, wrap-around support services aimed at tackling the root causes of poverty and promoting health and wellbeing.
