Sport has the power to transform lives. Yet misogyny continues to shape the experiences of women and girls, sustaining inequality and denying too many the joy and lifelong benefits of sport. Your support will help Women in Sport drive lasting cultural change across sport.

Misogyny in sport is not limited to an isolated incident, it is a systemic issue that sustains inequality by undermining women and girls and creating environments where they are not always respected, valued or safe. Our research shows 1.3 million girls who once considered themselves 'sporty' disengage from sport during their teenage years. This affects participation, leadership, coaching and performance, denying women and girls equal opportunities and the lifelong benefits of being active.

We will use the money raised to challenge misogyny through evidence-led campaigns, advocacy and practical support for the sport sector. It will help us influence organisations to adopt anti-misogyny policies, education and training, while working with clubs, coaches, and communities to create sporting environments where everyone is valued and able to thrive. Through our research, insight and thought leadership we’ll drive cultural change for the benefit of all who participate in sport.
