We're raising funds to train graduates of our in-prison Rugby Academy as Assistant Coaches and Mentors (ACAMs). Our leadership programme equips people in custody to develop the mentoring and leadership skills to coach their peers, while developing skills, confidence and qualifications.

Reoffending rates among young men remain alarmingly high, driven by a lack of opportunity, limited skills, learned helplessness and low rates of autonomy and self control. Prison fails to address these needs, leaving young people isolated and at a high risk of reoffending. Our sports-based mentoring programmes address this by providing positive opportunities for mentorship, connection and personal development and the opportunity to help others through peer-mentorship.
Through the power of sport, particularly rugby, we empower people to thrive beyond prison by building resilience, self-discipline and a sense of belonging. We provide the tools, support and encouragement for young people to rebuild their lives through our rugby mentoring programme. Our Rugby Academy graduates become Assistant Coaches and Mentors (ACAMS), taking on trusted leadership responsibilities that strengthen both their peers and the wider prison community
