We are in the midst of an arts education and wellbeing crisis. Young people have fewer and fewer safe places available to engage with the arts and develop creative skills. UK teenagers also have the lowest levels of life satisfaction in Europe while 66% of council-run youth centres in England and Wales have closed since 2010, drastically reducing young people’s support systems. 42% of UK schools don’t even offer a music GCSE 84% don’t offer a dance GCSE 27% fewer arts teachers than in 2010

Roundhouse has invested £50 million in 100,000 young people’s creativity and futures since 2006. Through creative programmes, industry experience, paid work, internships and performance opportunities, we help young people connect with their peers, support their wellbeing, and nurture their creative talent. Working in both the creative and youth sectors, our programmes are delivered with expert youth workers and professional artists, ensuring young people’s creativity is at the forefront.
