Sexual violence is life-changing. Its impacts can be felt across every area of a woman or girl’s life, from their mental and physical health, to relationships, education and livelihoods. Scottish Government data shows that Moray has one of the highest rates of recorded sexual assault per head of population in Scotland. The need for our service far outweighs the resources we have to support survivors when they first contact us. Over 100 survivors are currently waiting up to 12 months for support.

We provide specialist support services which help survivors cope with the impacts of the trauma they have experienced and build a life beyond this. Our services include individual therapeutic support (either in person, by phone or online); advocacy support, to help navigate the reporting and justice process; and a tailored service for girls aged 11 and over.
