We know many adults with learning disabilities are ready for greater independence, but there are not enough suitable places to support that move. Some people we support want to step on from Group Living, while others at The Grange and in the wider community are seeking a home of their own. Without accessible supported living options, people cannot take the next step, limiting confidence, independence and long-term wellbeing.

We will create a fully accessible one bedroom supported living flat at Rectory Lane by reconfiguring an existing space into a self-contained home with a bedroom, kitchen, living area and bathroom. This will offer someone ready for the next step a safe, comfortable space to build confidence and independence. It will increase supported living options, helping meet rising demand and giving more people with learning disabilities the chance to live fulfilling lives in a place they can call home.
