TBBT work with major UK retailers & manufacturers to redistribute surplus food via our network of 160 food clubs. We help 10,000 households a week in some of the countries most deprived communities. In 2025 we rescued over 9,000 tonnes of surplus produce, preventing 22,500 tonnes of CO2 emissions.

Today over 7 million adults and 2.6 million children in the UK face food insecurity. The current cost of living is putting households under huge financial strain. With ever increasing costs, many families are faced with the difficult decision between heating and eating. After paying for rent and energy bills, almost seven in ten households we surveyed are left with less than £50 per person each month, which works out at less than £2 a day to cover food and other essentials.

TBBT work with major retailers and food producers to collect surplus food and redirect it to the communities where it's needed most. Through our network of 160 affordable food clubs, our members can access fresh fruit and vegetables, chilled food and cupboard staples in a way that is practical, dignified and flexible. There are no referrals, no thresholds and no stigma. People do not have to prove they are struggling before they can access support. Everyone is welcome.
