Shrewsbury House is a Youth Club in Everton, Liverpool. Founded in 1903, we are known locally as the Shewsy. We provide vital child and youth services for the local community. We need your help to keep the doors open and update the building to ensure it remains an accessible safe space.

Everton is one of the most deprived places to live in England. With diminishing youth services and those that do exist coming at a cost children and young people are unable to access support. Without The Shewsy many young people would find themselves stuck at home or out on the streets with nothing to do. We exist to provide a safety net and a springboard for over 700 children and young people facing poverty, exclusion and social isolation.
We create a safe, welcoming space where young people and our community can grow in confidence, skills and spirituality and ambition, making Everton a place of opportunity. We deliver a Junior Club, a Senior Youth Club and comprehensive Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) playschemes. Our work encompasses structured youth work, targeted mentoring for at-risk young people, life-skills workshops and community-led sessions.
