Too many young people reach adulthood without the skills, confidence and support needed to move into work, learning and independent life. GMYN supports care-experienced, disabled, neurodivergent and isolated young people facing trauma, poor mental health and disrupted education. For these young people, work readiness is not just about writing a CV; it is about feeling safe, building confidence and having the support to take the next step..
GMYN’s Future Ready Fund will provide personalised support for young people not yet ready for employment, education or training. Trusted youth workers will help young people build confidence and identify goals. The fund will provide work readiness sessions, employer visits, paid placements, practical support with travel and equipment, progression bursaries and group activities. This flexible approach helps young people take their next step.
