Childhood cancer turns the lives of the entire family upside down over night. We’re the only UK charity providing open ended emotional & wellbeing support to the whole family. Together we can scale up our services to help more families during and after childhood cancer treatment.

Childhood cancer treatment, which can last up to three years, has an overwhelming effect on the entire family. Burnout, relationship breakdown, financial distress and lifelong trauma are all highly prevalent for the families we support. Emotional and wellbeing support is inconsistent and limited. 9 in 10 children and young people with cancer say their mental health needs aren’t being met. This is particularly true after treatment, when they return to school with their lives changed forever.

4,000 children are diagnosed with cancer each year. We want to offer our proven emotional, health and wellbeing support to everyone who needs it, helping them to manage anxiety and distress; access peer support; build resilience and come to terms with their prognosis. We tailor support in partnership with doctors, schools and partner charities - including 1-2-1 and group support sessions, counselling, massage, personal training, family fun days and peer support groups.
