The lack of access by refugees and conflict-affected youth to skills training fails to develop the human resources to build a secure future. This situation has worsened over the past two years with severe cuts in international aid. Many young refugees leaving school in Uganda and Kenya have no access to vocational, professional and university courses to equip them to earn a living and to enable them to take.skills home to rebuild their conflict-ravaged countries of origin.

We will provide a cohort of refugees and former refugees with study programmes and employment skills training for livelihoods.. We will select the participants with care, monitor progress and provide pastoral and practical support and mentorship.: We will assist students to access employment and livelihoods. We will work with other stakeholders to ensure that the project will inspire others to invest in self-reliance of refugees and their capcity to rebuild their lives and their countries..
