Supper time is the busiest time for parents & they cannot give their mainstream children the attention they deserve when their disabled child is home. Additionally, many of our children need feeding & suppertime can take over an hour, time their parents don't have. Importantly, our users are from two of London's poorest boroughs-Hackney/Haringey. 87% of our families report they would find it difficult to provide healthy meals without our support with 62% citing financial hardship as the reason.

We will provide after school suppers for disabled children every day from 3.30-6.30. The children are transported straight from school to our hub where they are warmly greeted by volunteers. The children choose activities including sensory play, story time, arts & crafts... They are then served a warm nutritious supper catered to their specific dietary requirements. The sessions finish with circle time. Our strategy guarantees they obtain essential nutrition crucial for their health & wellbeing.
