Based in rural Soham, our theatre serves a community facing deprivation, poor transport, isolation and mental ill health. Older people, carers, people with dementia, disabled adults and young people often lack support and opportunities to connect. High loneliness and above-average youth self-harm highlight the need for accessible arts that reduce isolation, improve wellbeing and create safe, inclusive spaces for all ages. Our programmes build confidence, creativity, belonging and hope.
Our dementia-friendly screenings give people with dementia and carers a safe place to relax, socialise and share experiences, reducing loneliness while offering carers respite. Free refreshments encourage connection. Youth projects provide accessible creative activities, reducing isolation and antisocial behaviour. Our SEN choir offers inclusive music-making and performance opportunities for people with special educational needs, improving confidence, wellbeing and belonging
