Kent Refugee Action Network (KRAN) offers holistic, empowering and immediate support to unaccompanied, young refugees and asylum seekers (aged 16 to 26) when they arrive in the UK. This vital support is provided through education for 16-18 year olds, advocacy and casework, mentoring in the community and activities. Once settled and stable, finishing college and with refugee status we offer our Youth Engagement team - a Peer Supporter, Media Ambassador and Youth Ambassador scheme of paid roles for those with lived experience. KRAN's aim is to provide young refugees and asylum seekers with a safe, positive space and support them to settle, actively contribute to their communities and thrive into adulthood.
