We are raising funds to provide 8 vulnerable girls in Malawi with a full four-year private secondary education. Our scholarships cover school fees, learning materials, mentoring, pastoral care, and extracurricular activities, giving girls the opportunity to thrive and build brighter futures.

Access to secondary school is rare in Malawi, with only 35% of students completing a secondary school education; this rate is halved for girls (World Bank). This results in Malawi having one of the highest child marriage rates globally, with 38% of girls married before they are 18 years old (UNICEF). By providing scholarships and support, we help girls stay in school, fulfil their potential, and build brighter futures.
Since 2022 MSP has funded 80 scholarships, 52% of which are for girls. With a dedicated Girls Programme Co-ordinator, the girls “second mum”, we make sure the girls are supported both in and out of the classroom. We work with the communities and primary schools to ensure we fund those with the most potential combined with the biggest need for support. We support them throughout their education, helping them stay safe, boost confidence and succeed academically.
