Hedgerows are essential for nature to thrive on farms. Without urgent action, precious wildlife will be lost forever. Your support can plant and protect hedges on farms to create natural spaces and a future for our amazing wildlife. 70% of the UK is farmland, so farmers are key to nature’s revival.

Nature is in decline. You know it. We all know it. Nearly 1 in 6 species of plants and animals are threatened with extinction, including 35 species of bee. Farmland bird species have dropped by over 50%. Much of this decline has been due to habitat loss which is why we need more hedgerows back on our farmland. Nature’s revival will be possible if we work with farmers across the 70% of the UK that they steward, protecting and replanting hedgerows to let wildlife thrive.
Together we are the Revivalists, uniting with farmers and supporters to plant and protect more hedges and revive nature. For example, at Soil Association’s Woodoaks Farm we’ve already planted 2,000 metres of hedgerow where harvest mice, hedgehogs, foraging bats and roosting birds are thriving. For 80 years, we’ve been working alongside farmers and changemakers, taking nature-friendly farming into the mainstream. The momentum is with us, but we need people like you. Come and take your place.
