Impact areas
Women continue to experience significant inequalities in healthcare, research, innovation and access to investment. Many health conditions affecting women remain under-researched, underfunded and poorly understood. Women continue to face delays in diagnosis, unequal treatment pathways and barriers to accessing appropriate care. Despite increasing awareness of women's health inequalities, systemic challenges persist across healthcare systems, research institutions and innovation ecosystems.
Diversity UK will deliver a three-part programme designed to strengthen women's leadership, participation and influence within healthcare innovation and research. 1. Women's Health Technology Summit 2026 2. Investing in Women HealthTech Founders Event 3. Research Project with the Christabel Pankhurst Institute Together, these activities will move beyond discussion to generate evidence, strengthen networks and create practical opportunities for women to influence future policy and innovation.
