For families facing serious childhood illness or bereavement, Christmas can feel incredibly hard. While others are celebrating, families may be managing hospital visits, treatment, anxiety, grief, financial pressure and painful memories. Children, siblings and parents can feel isolated and forgotten. At a time built around family traditions, they need emotional support, practical help and moments of joy more than ever.

We’ll provide vital emotional support through our family and bereavement support teams, provide access to therapies and respite breaks, and tailored practical help throughout the festive period. We’ll also create magical moments through Santa doorstep visits, advent calendars, small gifts and special Christmas experiences. These moments give families a chance to smile, connect and make memories; while knowing we’re still by their side.
