Our patients across Brent and Harrow consistently tell us that they value choice as they enter the last phase of their life. As you can imagine, for many this means feeling well and like themselves for as long as possible. Crucially, remaining in the familiar surroundings of their homes with independence and mobility. To achieve this, we need to be able to offer both medical and social support and care in a way that is flexible to and delivered in the way that matters most to them.

St Luke’s offers exceptional care from the peaceful surroundings of our hospice, Kenton Grange. However, for many of our patients, a residential stay isn’t what they need right now. By providing nursing staff to work with patients in their homes, we offer care that is unrushed & with someone who knows them well. Some care will be medical – administering treatment for pain or nausea for example, it might include occupational or physical therapies or simply providing an unhurried sympathetic ear.
