Young people are growing up in a world shaped by climate change, uncertainty & poor mental wellbeing. Those excluded from mainstream education often experience these challenges most acutely, yet are rarely included in conversations that imagine & shape the future. Too often they are defined by barriers rather than recognised for their creativity, insight & potential. Without opportunities to express themselves through the arts, many remain disconnected from learning, nature & their communities.

Imagine Better Futures places young people at the heart of an artistic enquiry into the relationship between inner emotional worlds, ecology & public imagination. Working with an internationally recognised artist, climate psychologists & educators, participants will explore climate anxiety, hope & sustainable futures through creative workshops before co-creating an ambitious public artwork that will engage thousands of people.
