We’re an organic smallholding passionate about working outdoors in nature to provide green therapy learning opportunities to children/young people, carers, veterans and vulnerable adults. Funding will help sustain our team, maintain our facilities and ensure continuity of our gardening programmes.

We’re seeing higher levels of mental ill health in Sussex compared to England overall. Being outdoors and in nature is proven to be beneficial to everyone, In our increasingly hyper-connected work, engagement with nature and green spaces is diminishing. We want to inspire children, young people and support vulnerable adults living with disabilities, ill health, or those facing isolation, disadvantage to grow and eat healthy, sustainable food and spend time outside reconnecting with nature.
We’re passionate about sharing the positive impact that working outdoors in nature has on our physical & mental health. We provide a safe space to learn & participate in activities on our organic smallholding to foster health & wellbeing. We run a programme of education & green therapy sessions, community workshops & volunteering, outside on our 2.4 acre site. All activities delivered in line with our ethos of sustainability – we value having a positive impact on our local and wider environment.
