A brain tumour diagnosis can change everything. Children face fear and uncertainty. Parents struggle to stay strong whilst supporting their child. Siblings often feel frightened and forgotten. Tom's Trust provides specialist psychological support that helps families cope, adjust and move forward.

Brain tumours affect every part of a child's life and also their family's, but psychological support is still not routinely available everywhere in the UK. Every year, hundreds of children are diagnosed with a brain tumour. Alongside the physical impact, families face anxiety, uncertainty and emotional trauma.

We are the only UK charity delivering specialist psychological support for children with brain tumours, embedded directly within NHS hospitals. We specialise in psychology and trauma-informed care, delivered by qualified clinicians in hospitals from diagnosis onwards. Survival is not enough, no matter what the final outcome is. Too many children live with lasting cognitive and emotional challenges, and too many families are left to cope alone.
