The Sulgrave After-School Discovery Club is a safe welcoming place where children aged 7–11 can learn, create, play, make friends & have fun together. Offering 4 evenings a week of free after-school activities, the Club helps children discover new interests, grow in confidence and feel they belong.

Beneficiaries
The children who attend The Sulgrave After-School Discovery Club come from low-income families, live in poor-quality, often overcrowded housing and have little or no access to affordable activities outside school. Without a safe place to go they can become bored, frustrated and isolated at home, or susceptible to negative peer pressure on the streets. The lack of affordable opportunities limits their experiences, hinders their development, and can lead to low confidence and poor self-esteem.
A fully funded Sulgrave After-School Discovery Club will guarantee we can provide a safe place where children can enjoy a variety of free activities and classes in the company of old and new friends, supported by a team of caring staff. Through their active participation, children will build friendships, improve their social skills, discover new interests and have a lot of fun. As a result, their confidence and their feelings of belonging and connection to the local community will grow.
