People in our community run out of food with nowhere to turn. The Bridge is how they get back: a food club with low-cost food each week plus support to find their feet. Three in four members tell us they no longer need a food bank. Help us open a second Bridge. Your gift will be doubled.

Around 7000 households turn to our outlets for emergency food each year. A parcel gets them through the week, but it does not change why they ran out. The Bridge does. Since 2024, our food club in Lockleaze has given members low-cost food each week, plus a support worker who helps them claim grants and benefits. This year, households we tracked have gained or saved over £1,200 each. Three in four tell us they no longer need a food bank.

We are in conversation with a venue in South Gloucestershire, a bigger space run by a partner we know well, ready to move quickly once confirmed. A second Bridge gives more households a real route out of food bank reliance. Members get low-cost food each week, a support worker to help them apply for grants and benefits, and access to advice through our partners. Trained volunteers work alongside them, and members who move on leave with a supermarket voucher. This is food security that lasts.
