Too many older people face winter in silence. As we age, challenges can arise both physical and emotional, and the colder months can make feelings of isolation even worse. Shorter days, harsh weather and less social contact can leave people feeling alone and forgotten. Guided by our vision of ‘a world where every older person feels included and valued’, Age NI is here to help, providing support to reduce loneliness, build meaningful connections and improve quality of life now and year-round.
Our Age NI advice provides trusted guidance on a wide range of issues such as benefits, housing and care, while our care services support older people to live independently and stay socially connected. Our wellbeing services help older people remain part of their communities through weekly phone calls, face-to-face befriending and local activities, ensuring everyone has someone to talk to and somewhere to turn. With your support, we can change how we age.
