Demand for respite care is urgent: 12% of UK children live with disabilities, and many families face disrupted sleep, constant caring responsibilities, and physical and emotional strain while balancing work and family life. Without overnight breaks, parents have little time to rest and recover, siblings can miss out on quality time, and family wellbeing can suffer. Over time, this pressure can push families towards crisis or breakdown. The magic of a sleepover can help change this.

A magical sleepover at Cherry Trees provides a vital respite break for children with complex disabilities and their families across Surrey, Hampshire and surrounding areas. Our specialist Ofsted Outstanding care gives families time to rest and recharge, helping prevent them reaching crisis and breakdown. While staying with us, children enjoy a safe home from home where they benefit from enriching experiences that build confidence and independence, creating lasting benefits for the whole family.
