Access to music education remains unequal, with our region continuing to be a cold spot: too many children in North Yorkshire and the North East are missing out on music education. School budgets are stretched and music is often squeezed out. This disproportionately affects children in areas worst affected by deprivation - widening the attainment gap between these children and their more privileged peers.

Our mission is to provide access to high-quality, affordable music tuition, focusing on schools that we know are in under-served areas. Our Schools Programme delivers a fantastic Kodály-based music curriculum to thousands of children every week - giving them a solid foundation to ensure they're able to carry on making music for life. Our approach levels the playing field for children affected by disadvantage - ensuring that music is for everyone.
