Every night, almost 200 people are sleeping on the streets of our city and this figure has increased for over 3 years. The people we support often have complex mental and physical health needs and face huge barriers accessing essential medical and social care. The longer someone is homeless, the more complex their problems become. These services are vital in helping them escape homelessness and the harsh winter conditions they face every night.

Our Beacon Support Centre offers a warm and safe space to those affected by homelessness throughout the winter. Our dedicated staff and volunteers run 4 breakfast sessions and 4 morning support sessions a week, where clients can get warm showers, food and clothing. More importantly, they receive tailored support from a trusted engagement worker, helping them access essential services, employment opportunities and accommodation.
