Through our “Fund a Family” programme, we provide subsidised or fully funded counselling for families who may otherwise be unable to afford support, helping to ensure that financial circumstances are not a barrier to accessing vital mental health care.

1 in 5 children and young people now face diagnosed mental health issues, with those from the poorest families four times more likely to be affected. In Mid Devon, increasing levels of rural and urban socio-economic poverty means many are unable to afford private therapy and face barriers to overstretched public services. Long waits after referral and increasingly high thresholds leave families trapped and unable to access the help they urgently need for their family members.
Bounce bridges the gap in statutory services by offering accessible, affordable and long term 1:1 therapy for children, young people and parents. Delivered within our community hub or through one of our partner schools, our experienced therapists offer a variety of techniques for issues ranging from anxiety and depression to trauma and suicidal ideation. We provide support to neuro diverse children and young people and are dedicated to engaging with parents to support the family as a whole.
