1 in 4 people experience mental health difficulties in their life. Difficult to access services including long service waiting times for support. Suicide remains one of the leading causes of death for men under 50, with men accounting for 3 out of 4 people who died by suicide in 2024. Impact of loneliness and isolation. Weekly Facilitated Peer Support Groups for Mental Health: A group for men increases men's confidence in talking about how they are feeling, and empowers men to talk about their wellbeing. A group for women enables the confidence to talk about feelings and situations they may not feel comfortable sharing otherwise. Shared tools to manage and improve mental health. Helps people feel less suicidal, more connected and learn from lived experience. Free regular open ended support, building communities
