The Mill has always brought people together through arts, culture and creativity. Funds raised will help us prepare for the next chapter of our development, ensuring more people can access inspiring cultural and community experiences across North Oxfordshire.

Oxfordshire looks affluent. Parts of Banbury tell a different story — among the most deprived 20% of neighbourhoods in England. Arts access is often the first thing to go, even though it's exactly what builds confidence, creativity and ambition. What is more, without investment into local cultural infrastructure we risk losing not only access to the arts, but also the opportunities and outcomes they make possible
We connect people to the arts. We know the transformative power of arts and culture; not only to uplift individuals and communities, but to entertain, support wellbeing and bring happiness. By working across our community with key partners to identify and remove barriers to access, we will make sure we are here for everyone — so that all people can engage with arts and culture and reap the benefits.
