People experiencing homelessness, including those leaving prison or in contact with the criminal justice system, face escalating hardship, especially in winter. Rising living costs mean many go without food, heat, travel, or essentials. Complex challenges such as poor mental health, unemployment, and isolation deepen the risk of crisis and reoffending. Without support, people miss vital appointments and lose opportunities to rebuild their lives, while demand on frontline services keeps growing.
We will deliver support through Christmas and winter across our frontline services, including work with people leaving prison or in contact with the criminal justice system. This includes hot meals, food parcels, emergency accommodation, clothing, and household essentials, alongside resettlement support, travel costs, digital access, and employment support. Our services reduce isolation, prevent reoffending, and give people practical tools to stabilise their lives and move towards independence.
