Children with movement disabilities often face significant barriers to accessing specialist physiotherapy. While some statutory provision exists, access to intensive, specialist interventions vary considerably across the UK and many families struggle to access the support their child needs. Movement difficulties can affect every aspect of a child's life, including communication, education, social participation, confidence and independence. We give them a chance of improving all of these.

Our purpose is to give children the best chance of reaching their full potential with early intervention being the key factor in our delivery. Our vision is to Unlock movement, transform lives. We do this through the delivery of specialist physiotherapy including Targeted Training, Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI) and Hydrotherapy, as well as generic physiotherapy provision. Children attend The Movement Centre on regular occasions, are also given the equipment and tools to get physiotherapy.
