Our Bluebells centre provides a welcoming hub for life limited children and their families. Often described as ‘a little slice of Heaven.’ We want to increase our regular activities and develop new initiatives to ensure all the children we support get to enjoy the experiences most take for granted.

Life limited children often suffer social exclusion and poor mental health as illness and disability make it hard to access mainstream events or even leave their home. Due to increased costs of raising a disabled child and the impact of the cost-of-living crisis, children become isolated. Beyond the medical care a child requires, children need opportunities to make friends and have fun, whilst families need emotional and practical support. The Bluebells meets the needs of children and families.
We enhance the wellbeing of life limited children and their families by providing restorative breaks, inclusive events, regular activities and emotional support at The Bluebells. We bring children together in a positive, non-clinical environment, where they can make new friends, have fun and enjoy precious moments with their families. Our aim is to work with the children and families we support to grow the activities we offer and involve them in creating new events and initiatives.
