Willow support seriously ill young adults aged 16 to 40 through the provision of Special Day experiences. Our experiences provide a positive distraction from life with serious illness and allow our beneficiaries to share precious moments with their loved ones that become lasting memories.

During a time that should be dedicated to the future, when young adults are expected to finish their education, forge careers and start families, thousands of them each year are diagnosed with a life-changing incurable illness. Their lives are abruptly interrupted as they must focus all of their energy on hospital appointments and debilitating treatment plans. They lose their identities as they become patients, all whilst coming to terms with a shortened life expectancy.

Through Special Day experiences we support young adults when medical care alone cannot. Our experiences our completely bespoke, planned directly with our young adults to fulfil their needs and wishes. We offer the opportunity for them to step away from their daily life as someone with a serious illness and spend vital time with those who love them. Spending time just being mummy or daddy with their children, or being a partner to their loved one.
