Rising living costs are leaving more people across the South Cotswolds struggling to afford essentials, with pressure increasing significantly at Christmas. Demand for our support rises on average by 67% in December, increasing costs for staffing, food purchases to supplement donations and replace lost free school meals during holidays, and transport. As a rural foodbank, 60% of our parcels are delivered to people facing barriers such as poor transport links, health challenges or isolation.

South Cotswolds Foodbank will bring hope and support to local people facing hardship by providing emergency food parcels, practical advice and connections to further help. We will make sure families and individuals have access to the essentials they need during the festive season, while helping them move towards a more secure future. Big Give funding will help us meet the winter increase in demand and ensure no one is left struggling at this special time of year.
