The impact of a cancer diagnosis is difficult and wide reaching whilst the treatment can be long and gruelling. This cancer journey cause a strain on a family unit both emotionally and financially. This can lead to anxiety, depression, isolation, and loneliness. With everyone facing an increase in the cost of living we want to use our Cancer Kits to ensure that this vulnerable group have access to the essential items and support needed during treatment and beyond.
We will use our Cancer Kits which are a free of charge resource for those undergoing treatment for cancer. We have 4 Kits: • Kids’ Kits • Chemo Kits • Cancer Kits • Comfort Kits Based on previous feedback our kits will: • Help to ease loneliness and isolation • Help to reduce the impact of the side effects that come with treatment. • Provide comfort from pain. • Provide relief from the aches and pains of longs days at hospital. • Support better mental health and wellbeing
