Racialised young women from minority communities face layered inequalities, shaped by gendered expectations, poverty, racism, and social exclusion. Many grow up in patriarchal settings with early caring roles and limited access to public life. Just 18% achieve Level 4+ qualifications (vs. 52% locally), and most earn below the London Living Wage. Despite high aspirations, structural and cultural barriers severely restrict their access to education, training, and opportunity.

We provide tailored, culturally sensitive and person-led programmes that empower 250+ racialised women & girls annually through training, mentoring, wellbeing and skills development opportunities. Our safe, gender and culture-specific spaces support those excluded from mainstream services to build skills, confidence, and networks. By challenging stereotypes and removing barriers, we open up education and employment pathways that lead to long-term independence and opportunity for young women.
