This fund is to add to what we have already ring-fenced for warehouse rentage to begin our recycling project involving collection of non-biodegradable wastes like used bottles, cans, plastics, and cardboards from public spaces across the West Midlands for onward processing for recycling purposes.

For ex-offenders, transitioning from prison custody into the society is tough, socio-economic barriers - stigmatisation, discrimination, social isolation, and mistrust, come in the way of dignified living. Without employable skills, shelter, job, or money, the results is chaos - more homelessness, re-offending, and going back to a life of crime and drugs. Society suffers, when ex-offenders are left vulnerable.

This project is aimed at removing the socio-economic barriers usually confronted by ex-offenders whilst searching for jobs, through provision of employment. This involves employment of ex-offenders for collection and transportation of non biodegradable wastes to our warehouse, sorting and packaging them for onward distribution to factories that use recycled waste for meaningful production. We have already have part of the fund required.
