People experiencing homelessness often face isolation, instability, and limited access to safe, consistent spaces where they can build trust and positive relationships. This can reduce opportunities for creative expression, skill development, and meaningful social connection. There is a need for inclusive, welcoming creative spaces that support wellbeing, confidence, and a sense of belonging through shared cultural activity.
Building on our extensive experience, we will create a new space for creativity, bringing people from multiple homeless centres together for music-making supported by professionals, responding to long-held aspirations from current and previous participants. It will draw people from our projects in centres & become the place for year-round engagement with people experiencing homelessness, leading to positive outcomes including connection, responsibility and stability.
