Many students struggle to access IT education and practical digital skills. Schools lack resources to provide vital computer access. Most students leave school without ever using a computer. Only 13% of secondary schools in Malawi have an IT lab, with similar gaps in rural areas of Zambia and Zimbabwe. Students in underserved areas have far fewer opportunities to benefit from digital education and are getting left behind.

We will address the problem by equipping low income secondary schools with IT labs of 10 computers, supported by teacher training and ongoing computer maintenance. This will give students access to digital skills teaching for the first time, enabling hands on learning, improving the quality of ICT education and expanding opportunities for further education, employment and life.
