Buy a child a school lunch today – and you can transform their life tomorrow. Children can learn on full stomachs, stay in education and thrive. Our work in rural Ghana enables people to study, to train, to earn, to contribute to society. It starts with a bowl of food - it becomes transformational.

Lawra and Nandom are two of the poorest districts in Ghana. Most people survive on subsistence farming, and struggle to grow enough food to feed their families all year round. Children often only eat four times a week – and drop out of school through hunger or to migrate south for work. In schools without a feeding programme, only about a third of children attend. The poverty cycle continues and there is no escape.
A hungry child cannot learn - that’s why we start with a bowl of food. This campaign will enable children to stay in education by providing school lunch. That child can then go to university and become a midwife. The school cook can support her son, who can launch a business and employ others. The farmer who grows the food can support his brother to become a teacher. A generation can benefit from our wider programme of education, enterprise and inclusion - a community is uplifted.
