One in three women experiences gender-based violence, millions live in poverty, and women are disproportionately affected by humanitarian crises. Yet women’s rights organisations receive less than 1% of global funding. As women’s rights face growing threats and funding cuts deepen, research shows that up to half of women-led organisations in humanitarian settings could close within six months. Investing in these organisations is more urgent and critical than ever.
Our approach includes increasing investment in frontline, women-led organisations, and tackling systemic barriers to ending violence against women and economic injustice. We demand justice for survivors of gender-based violence and reinvigorate campaigns for living wages in global supply chains. We leverage our expertise in grant-making, advocacy, and our bold network of high-level women and allies to make lasting progress for women and girls.
