With 16 million people in the UK living with a disability and 1 in 4 facing mental ill health each year, our work is more vital than ever. Thrive utilises the benefits of Social and Therapeutic Horticulture (STH) to combat the impact of ill health and social isolation. Our trained practitioners use gardening to boost physical and mental wellbeing, ease isolation and loneliness, and foster purpose and connection.

Thrive connects health and horticulture, making gardening, and the associated wellbeing benefits, accessible to everyone. We deliver therapeutic programmes designed to support those with specific needs. We share health-focused gardening advice across the UK, enabling more people to experience the benefits. We also train new practitioners, helping to grow the access to social and therapeutic horticulture.
