Of 2.4 million UK veterans, 28% report mental health problems and 9% have probable PTSD. Yet 60% never seek help, held back by stigma, long NHS waits and lack of specialist provision. Untreated trauma causes family breakdown, addiction, job loss and suicide. Veterans with substance misuse issues or in the justice system are routinely excluded from statutory services. Their families suffer secondary trauma but are rarely offered support.

PTSD Resolution provides free, confidential one-to-one therapy to veterans, reservists and families within an average of 12 days of referral. Our 200 accredited Human Givens therapists work locally and online across the UK. No GP referral or diagnosis is required. We treat those excluded elsewhere: veterans with addiction, in the justice system or living overseas. Treatment averages seven sessions, reaching a planned ending agreed by client and therapist.
